This post is all about you guys. Gratitude is a big deal to me. I thank you. You readers, you who make my recipes each week and you who have continually supported me and my blog, many of you from the very beginning when I started it just over 2 years ago.
For the past 2 years, my blog has grown more than I ever imagined and I have YOU all to thank for it. I had a very specific vision when I started The Vegan 8 and it has become such a big part of my life and one of my greatest passions. Without you all making my recipes and loving them and sharing them with your family and friends, it would not grow. Yes, I work extremely hard in the kitchen testing to share recipes, which is important for a blog to grow since the recipes need to be great, but my gratitude goes to you guys who make them. Over and over. I have gotten to know many of you by name and know your stories and even many of your allergies. I have worked hard to show you I care about you and your requests and connect with you.
To show you my gratitude, I figured a big beautiful shiny NEW Red KitchenAid Food Processor would be a great Christmas present for one of you. I chose a food processor because it is the ONE major kitchen appliance I use the MOST out of everything. I absolutely cannot live without it and I use it more than anything else for my recipes. Since so many of you have stated you do not have one, I figured this would be the best gift to share as a giveaway.
I love receiving your comments, feedback and your emails each week. I love getting your recipe requests and although it takes me some time to get to them all, I’m truly touched that you reach out to me and have confidence in me to create something for you. You really don’t know how humbled I am by that. So, thank you.
So, to enter this giveaway, it’s very simple. All you have to do is TWO things: Enter the Giveaway below and be subscribed to my blog. I would probably make (or try to make) some homemade vegan cheese. I don’t have a food processor or I decent blender that can handle blending the nuts and everything required so I’ve never tried making it before.
So many choices. I think first would be salsa or a tart crust.
Ahhhh it would be such a dream to win this!!! I would make date crust for a cake!!!
That is a beautiful food processor! It would chop up the celery, green peppers, and onions just right for red beans and rice! This is a very thoughtful giveaway! Thanks…
Hummus of course!!!! Ooooooh! And your cheese sauce!
What a wonderful giveaway! Thank you so much for the opportunity! I think the first thing I’d make would be a new batch of Vegan Parmesan cheese!! Merry Christmas!

Definitely HUMMUS and lots of it – many varieties! My FP (NOT a KitchenAid) is dead…I REALLY need a new one! REALLY!
Oooh ! I write recipes for my website, http://www.SorayaBeheshti.com – often they require date paste, which I can no longer make since I do not have a food processor anymore! Also hummus, tahini, rice Creme, red bean paste, dips, cheese sauce and VEGAN CHEESE! Currently can’t make anything that requires processed nuts in the appliance I have atm
I would make your yummy sweet potato pancakes.
Cookies! I’d definitely make cookies! I’ve always wanted one of these and this would be perfect for so many recipes!
As much as I love my Vitamix, it is not always the best option for every job, such as hummus. So I would definitely use this for making a big batch of hummus, without having to add a ton of liquid of leaving behind half of it in the blades :).

Cashew mylk, hummus, almond butter, raw desserts, ….. Infinity and beyond. ?

Nice cream! In school, I see people eating ice cream to ease their stress, and I always think ” Aren’t the vegans supposed to be the stress-free hippies?! If there was a way to turn my banana into ice cream right about now, finals would be a little more smoothly (no pun intended)
I would make sweet potato hummus.
How generous of you! I love your blog. And if I win, the first thing made would most likely be bananas ice cream, followed by the potato cheese sauce, and than hummus!
I would make a silky smooth faux cheese sauce!
Cauliflower rice!

The first thing I would make with my bright, new, shiny, gorgeous red food processor would probably be the dough for Christmas dinner rolls. Then I could get them formed and in the freezer so all I’d need to do Christmas day is take them out to thaw before popping them in the oven.
OMG I am so excited about this giveaway! It couldn’t have come at a better time because my food processor is on its last legs and as a college student I can’t afford to buy a new one right now! It would be my dream to win and the first thing I would make is a big batch of my VEGAN CHOCOLATE PUDDING!!! So good.
What a beauty! I would love to put this in my kitchen. I would make nut butters and my own nut flours.

My cheap food processor got a big crack in it just before I came across that recipe on your site and I’ve been DYING to make them ever since! Brownies were my favorite childhood dessert, and I would love to try making healthier, vegan brownies π
Too hard to choose just one…I’m thinking hummus, pesto or salsa ?
If I won the food processor, the first thing I would make would be some chickpea mock-tuna salad. It’s yummy! Chickpeas, celery, carrots, onion, red peppers, vegan mayo, mustard, salt, pepper to taste….serve with veggies or an toasted bread slices…..true yumminess!
